Prevention

Professional oral hygiene

If you want to have a healthy smile, remember to undergo regular cleaning and polishing of the teeth: it is the best way to prevent the major diseases of the oral cavity, such as caries, gingivitis or pyorrhea. Brushing your teeth, in fact, may not be enough to remove deep plaque, tartar and bacteria that are formed in the most difficult areas to reach with the toothbrush.

Sealing

Sealing is recommended to prevent caries in children. At first, when they replace milk teeth, permanent teeth have deep, hard-to-clean furrows. The result? Bacteria proliferate undisturbed by generating caries, especially if hygiene is lacking. The seal is used to avert this risk, thanks to a resin that closes the cracks. It's a fast, painless procedure with no contraindications on your children's teeth.

Bite for bruxism

Have you ever gritted your teeth? It happens to those who, especially at night, discharge part of the stress accumulated during the day on the jaw. The consequence of bruxism is twofold: muscle tension and tooth wear due to contact micro-traumas. This disorder can be solved by wearing the bite, a mobile device designed to protect your smile: it is modeled on the mold of the teeth and helps you relax the muscles.

Skaling and root planing

This non-surgical treatment under anesthesia removes plaque and residues that are deposited between the root and the gums, also smoothing out the irregularities. This prevents the gingival sulcus from forming a pocket where bacteria can proliferate. If you have a predisposition to this disease, we recommend that you undergo treatment with a certain regularity: the accumulation of tartar can in fact inflam and weaken the gum, with progressive separation from the tooth.

Dentistry

Filling

If you have a caries, the obturation serves to repair the damaged tooth and to prevent the lesion from spreading. After removing the carious material, your dentist applies a substance on the tooth that restores the original form and structure. Depending on how deep the lesion is, local anesthesia may be required.

Devitalization

A deep caries can also affect the pulp of the tooth, inflaming it or causing it to go into necrosis: in this case it is precisely the nerve fibers present in the pulp that make you feel that annoying localized hypersensitivity. Through devitalization, also called root canal treatment, the dental pulp is removed, preventing inflammation from giving rise to an abscess or granuloma. The operation is performed under local anesthesia.

Crown

The crown serves to improve the appearance of your smile and to give greater strength to a weakened or reconstructed tooth. It is cemented on the filed tooth. The classic metal-ceramic crown has now been replaced by the ceramic version, for an even more natural and aesthetic result.

Bridge

The bridge is a prosthesis used to replace one or more missing or necessary to extract teeth. Each bridge is made up of several crowns: the central ones replace the missing teeth while the outermost ones are fixed on the teeth adjacent to the slit - which for this reason are reduced or struck - acting as a pillar. Precisely to avoid having to intervene on these lateral teeth, whenever possible, it is preferable to resort to implant surgery in place of the bridge.

Extraction of wisdom teeth

We must remove the wisdom teeth if there is not enough space or if they are growing crooked. It is a routine procedure that your dentist can perform with different types of anesthesia, and usually the course is quite rapid.

Implant

The implant is a medical device of a surgical type that serves to replace one or more teeth or to rehabilitate entire arches. It is a titanium screw that acts as a root to anchor the prosthesis, fixed or mobile. If the bone structure is not thick enough, surgery is performed to increase its volume.

Aestethic and Reconstructive Dentistry

Dental whitening

Everyday life exposes our teeth to many factors that can determine their discoloration; just think of coffee or cigarette smoke. Dental bleaching gives brightness back to your smile, making your teeth whiter without affecting the structure in any way: it is an aesthetic and conservative operation that guarantees you extraordinary results in a totally painless way.

Ceramic veneer

A dental veneer is an ultra-thin shell of tooth-colored porcelain that is cemented over the facial surfaces of your teeth to correct dental issues including worn tooth enamel, uneven tooth alignment or spacing, tooth discoloration, and chips or cracks.

Although veneers fall into the category of cosmetic dentistry because they help makeover smiles with beautifully aligned, shapely teeth, they also boast protective qualities and may eliminate the need for more extensive treatments.

Aesthetic filling

If you have a caries or an old filling to replace, choose with your dentist an aesthetic filling: it is totally invisible and gives the smile a healthier look. After removing the caries, you fill the cavity and proceed layer by layer, according to the exact color of your teeth: the layers have different gradations, until the last which is almost transparent, just like the natural enamel. The obturation is then polished to make the surface smooth and natural.

Inlay e Onlay

When a tooth is seriously compromised by caries, these resin or ceramic caps are a valid alternative to fillings: unlike the latter, in fact, they are not molded inside the mouth but on the basis of the impression prepared in the laboratory. Two sessions are enough: in the first, the tooth is prepared and the impression is taken; in the second appointment you run the actual application. The inlay serves in the case of a partial reconstruction, while the onlay extends over a larger portion of the tooth.

Ceramic crown

A particularly extensive caries can consume and compromise the tooth to such an extent that a final solution such as the crown is necessary. The tooth thus regains its beauty and perfect functionality. Less visible than the traditional metal-ceramic version, the ceramic-only crown is also better tolerated by the body.

Ceramic bridge

A ceramic bridge gives you both aesthetic and wellness benefits: in addition to giving the prosthesis an appearance similar to real teeth, ceramics are accepted without problems by the body.

Gum treatments

Oral hygiene

If you want to have a healthy smile, remember to undergo regular cleaning and polishing of the teeth: it is the best way to prevent the major diseases of the oral cavity, such as caries, gingivitis or pyorrhea. Brushing your teeth, in fact, may not be enough to remove deep plaque, tartar and bacteria that are formed in the most difficult areas to reach with the toothbrush.

Root coverage

In case the gum retires and decreases, this microsurgery allows you to replace it to the ideal position. Regenerative techniques provide that in some cases micro-incisions are sufficient, while other times it is necessary to insert small portions of tissue, with which the gum can be rehabilitated.

Skaling and root planing

This non-surgical treatment under anesthesia removes plaque and residues that are deposited between the root and the gum, also smoothing out the irregularities. This prevents the gingival sulcus from forming a pocket where bacteria can proliferate. If you have a predisposition to this disease, we recommend that you undergo treatment with a certain regularity: the accumulation of tartar can in fact inflam and weaken the gum, with progressive separation from the tooth.

Orthodontics

Classic external braces

By revitalizing your teeth, the orthodontic appliance help you to improve your breathing, chewing and swallowing, as well as making your smile more beautiful. The external fix or mobile device is perfect for patients of all ages. The connections can be in metal or ceramic: in this last case, being of a color similar to the tooth, the device is much less noticeable.

Internal invisible braces

The misalignment of the dentition is corrected through this lingual device, characterized by plates glued on the inner side of the teeth: in this way the orthodontic appliance is practically invisible, guaranteeing you a completely natural smile.

Invisalign

Invisalign is the alternative to the braces: it is a transparent plastic aligner without metal wires or connections, and for this reason it is highly appreciated especially by adult patients. It is tailor-made for you: it must be replaced periodically with new templates, designed to adapt to the progressive stages of the tooth movement. In addition to being invisible, Invisalign is also removable: so you can remove it when you eat or brush your teeth, to offer maximum comfort with minimal aesthetic impact.

Facial Aesthetic Treatments

Lip Fillers

Fillers are naturally derived substances which are injected into the face to correct wrinkles, lines, or other depressions in the skin that form when natural volume is lost.  Belotero is made of hyaluronic acid, which is naturally found in the skin as well as joints.

Our exclusive innovation consists in anesthetizing the area prior to injecting the filler, so the procedure is painless.

Results are noticeable immediately and can be expected to last several months.
