Dental Radiography is considered one of the main diagnostic tests: it allows a complete view of the patient's dental anatomy and forms the basis on which to set up further investigations for the most scrupulous diagnostic needs.
It constitutes one of the fundamental points of the diagnostic protocol of the treatment plan preliminary, allowing us to discover all those diseases of the stomatognatic apparatus that are not detectable in a precise manner during the objective examination.
It is a quick, non-invasive examination for the execution of which we use one of the most modern radiographic equipment for digital acquisition.
A digital radiographic system that provides a series of benefits for the patient:
- the dose of emitted and absorbed radiation is much lower than that of traditional systems.
- it is possible to evaluate the radiographic image with the computer that allows us to enlarge it, rotate it, observe it three-dimensionally, color it according to the density of the tissues, and measure the dimensions.
- an intraoperative check can be performed without the need for development and with results in real time.
